Benjamin Gould

Benjamin Gould is an accomplished materials scientist and tribologist with a robust academic and professional background in mechanical engineering. Benjamin earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware in 2012, followed by a Doctor of Philosophy in the same field, completed in 2017. Professional experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Argonne National Laboratory from December 2017 to June 2019 and as a Mechanical Engineering PhD Candidate and Teaching Assistant at the University of Delaware from June 2012 to December 2017. Benjamin's research at Argonne involved investigating premature bearing failures linked to microstructural changes. Additional positions include Laboratory Graduate Researcher at Argonne, Senior Principal Materials Scientist at The Chemours Company, and currently serving as Principal Materials Scientist and Lead Research Scientist at Qnity since July 2025.
