Tracy Mack-Askew

Tracy Mack-Askew has extensive work experience in the engineering and automotive industry. Tracy is currently serving as the Chief Engineer of Chassis, Propulsion, and Vocational Engineering at Daimler Truck North America, where they lead a team responsible for designing and developing zero-emission trucking solutions. Tracy also co-leads the Global Chassis Head Group, working on building technical and commercial synergies.

Prior to their current role, Tracy was the General Manager of HD Vocational Platform at Daimler Truck North America, where they successfully turned around a struggling unit and delivered multiple major wins, increasing market share and reducing development process complexity.

Tracy also held the position of Vice President of Engineering at Thomas Built Buses, a subsidiary of DTNA, where they drove innovation and established a strong engineering culture. Tracy was responsible for leading various organizations within the company and initiated a "Shark Tank" competition to promote team innovation.

Apart from their roles at Daimler Truck North America, Tracy has served as an Independent Director on the Board of Directors for Qnovo and Columbia Bank. Tracy has also held various leadership positions at General Motors, where they led global commodity process efficiencies and managed several engineering projects, including the Chevrolet Malibu. Tracy has a proven track record of delivering results and driving revenue generation throughout their career.

Tracy Mack-Askew has a strong educational background in management and engineering. Tracy obtained a Masters of Arts degree in Management from Harvard University and a Master of Science degree in Engineering from Purdue University. Tracy also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Additionally, they gained international experience in engineering through an International Exchange program at Nanyang Technological University Singapore. Before their higher education, Tracy attended Renaissance High School.
