Vanja Plicanic Samuelsson

Vanja Plicanic Samuelsson has a diverse work experience starting from 2004. Vanja worked as an Antenna Measurement Young Graduate Trainee at the European Space Agency from 2004 to 2005. After that, they joined Sony Mobile Communications and held various roles including RF Development Engineer, Research Engineer, Senior Researcher - Research and Incubation, and Senior Manager - IoT BG Europe. Vanja worked at Sony Mobile Communications from 2005 until August 2019. In 2007, they also worked as an Industrial Ph.D. at Lunds universitet. Currently, they are the Founder and CEO of Qoitech, a company that provides enabling solutions for energy optimization of battery-driven products.

Vanja Plicanic Samuelsson completed their M.Sc. degree in Electroscience and Technology Management from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University, starting in 1999 and finishing in 2004. Vanja then pursued further education and obtained a Ph.D. in Electromagnetic Theory from the same institution. This Ph.D. program spanned from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, Vanja achieved certification as a Six Sigma Black Belt from Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications AB in 2007.
