Amy Hammons MS RDN LD is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as an Executive Rare Disease Specialist at QOL Medical LLC since August 2014, focusing on educating physicians about Genetic Sucrase Isomaltase Deficiency and optimizing patient care through enzyme replacement therapy and nutritional intervention. Previously, Amy held the position of Regional Trainer and Nutrition Specialist, supporting Rare Disease Specialists in enhancing nutritional aspects of GSID treatment. Prior to QOL Medical, Amy worked as a Middle School Teacher at Putnam City Schools and as a Technical Sales Specialist at Prometheus, where Amy educated gastroenterologists on lab testing for bowel disease. Additionally, Amy gained experience as an Account Manager at Nestle USA, where efforts were directed towards selling medical nutrition products in healthcare settings. Amy holds a Master’s degree in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and a Bachelor’s degree in Secondary Science Education from the University of Oklahoma.
