Yi Ram Kim

Yi Ram Kim currently serves as a Product Quality Engineer at Qorvo, Inc., where involvement includes supporting various high-performance analog projects and programs for the US Navy. Prior to this role, Yi Ram Kim contributed as a Research Scholar in the SRC Research Scholars Program, focusing on electromigration failure mechanisms in solder interconnects, culminating in a dissertation on the effects of SnAgCu solder package parameters. Additionally, experiences at The University of Texas at Arlington as both an Enhanced Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant involved extensive research on electromigration testing and reliability of microelectronic packages, complemented by presentations at conferences including the IEEE and TMS annual meetings. Yi Ram Kim earned a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with a minor in Materials Science from William & Mary.
