Alexandra Savory

Alexandra Savory is an accomplished Chemical Engineering graduate from Virginia Tech, with extensive experience in both research and process engineering. Currently serving as an ePTFE Fabricated Components Engineer at W. L. Gore & Associates, Alexandra previously held roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Virginia Tech, focusing on biodegradable plastics to displace single-use items in healthcare, as well as polymer characterization. Prior experience includes multiple co-op positions at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where responsibilities ranged from process qualification for sterile vial filling lines to capital expenditure cost controls. In addition to technical expertise, Alexandra has a solid background in scientific experimental approaches, having contributed to various research projects while collaborating with industry and healthcare professionals.
