Khan Hashmat Ali

Khan Hashmat Ali has a range of experience in network security and engineering roles. Khan started their career as a Network Trainee Engineer at Velocis Systems Pvt Ltd., where they were responsible for network support and configuration. Khan then joined Allied Corporation as a Network Engineer, where they provided network support and documentation. At Sophos, they worked as a Network & Security Engineer, configuring and troubleshooting VPNs, authentication, and access policies. Khan then moved to Tech Data as a Solution Associate, where they worked as a pre-sales engineer, creating solutions and conducting product presentations. Khan then worked at BT as a Network Security Analyst, setting up firewalls and taking over equipment maintenance. Currently, they are a Principal Lead Engineer at QOS Technology, where they focus on network security solutions, migration, design, implementation, documentation, and project management.

Khan Hashmat Ali completed a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai from 2008 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Science from M.H.Saboo Siddik Junior College from 2006 to 2008. Khan also completed their high school education in Vocational (V-3) field of study at M.H.Saboo Siddik High School from 2003 to 2006. Khan Hashmat Ali has obtained various certifications in the field of cybersecurity and network security from different institutions, including Guardicore, Claroty, Qualys, Splunk Solution, Fortinet, Check Point Software Technologies Ltd., and Cisco, between 2014 and 2023.
