Jose Taia

Jose Taia is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in systems administration and application support, demonstrating a strong background in the health sector and public service. Currently serving as a Senior Systems Administrator at QPS, Jose manages third-level support for over 22,000 users, overseeing multiple Queensland Government tenants and a range of services including Azure AD, Exchange, Office 365, and VMware. Previous roles include Senior Technical Applications Lead at UnitingCare Queensland, Application Specialist and Technical Lead at Mater, as well as positions at PSBA, Brisbane City Council, Boeing Defence Australia, and other organizations. Jose holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology from QUT and possesses a diverse skill set ranging from system integration and deployment to project management and compliance.
