Rakesh Sapra

Rakesh Sapra has extensive experience in the field of cardiology. Rakesh started their career as a Senior Consultant Cardiology at Batra Hospital, New Delhi in 1998 and worked there until 2005. From 2007 to 2010, they served as the Senior Consultant and Head Cardiology at Artemis Health Institute in Gurgaon. Following that, they joined Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad as a Senior Consultant and Head Cardiologist, where they remained until 2014. Currently, Rakesh Sapra holds the position of Director and Head of Cardiology at QRG Health Care, a role they have been in since 2014.

Rakesh Sapra completed their Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from Gandhi Medical College, where they studied from 1984 to 1990. Before that, they attended Air Force Bal Bharti School in New Delhi for one year, from 1983 to 1984. Prior to their time in Delhi, they studied at Sainik School in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh from 1977 to 1983. After completing their MBBS, Rakesh pursued a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from PGIMER in Chandigarh, where they studied from 1991 to 1993. Following their MD, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Cardiovascular Science from All India Institute of Medical Sciences between 1995 and 1997.
