Roman Razilov

Roman Razilov has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Roman most recently worked at Qruise as the Chief Software Architect starting in March 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Staff Scientist at Forschungszentrum Jülich from June 2021 to March 2022.

Roman also gained extensive experience at Signify, where they held multiple roles. From January 2020 to May 2021, they worked as a Product Owner/Architect for Public Applications, leading a team responsible for managing the CityTouch street light management system. Roman supported product management, software operations, and IoT platform development. From January 2018 to January 2020, they were the Product Architect for the CityTouch Street Lighting Cellular IoT Platform, where they transformed the system into a multi-application platform and improved its performance and development.

Before Signify, Roman worked at Philips Lighting from March 2011 to December 2017. During their tenure, they held various positions, including Senior Software Engineer for the CityTouch Street Lighting IoT Platform and Software Development Engineer in the CityTouch team. Roman contributed to the development, testing, and integration of the lighting control systems and data analytics tools.

In the early stages of their career, Roman worked at Parsytec AG as a Softwareingenieur from August 2001 to February 2011, where they focused on designing and developing image classification tools for surface inspection systems. Roman also worked at Quantum.Logistics GmbH as a Softwareentwickler from April 2000 to July 2001 and at Fatherboard Software GmbH as a Softwareentwickler from February 1997 to March 2000.

Roman Razilov obtained their Bachelor's degree in Physics from Novosibirsk State University (NSU) from 1990 to 1994. Roman then pursued their Master's degree in Physics at the same university from 1994 to 1996.
