After gaining her Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Queensland in 1996, Dr Tanya Wood (MBBS, FRANZCR) completed her Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists training at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Subsequent to this, she undertook a fellowship in Cardiac Imaging at the Prince Charles Hospital.
In 2009, Tanya joined Qscan Radiology Clinics as a consultant Radiologist before being made an Associate Radiologist. In early 2010, she was appointed Radiologist in Charge at Redcliffe Hospital.
Tanya has a keen interest in the training of new radiologists and participates in the formal lecture series for radiology registrars and radiography students and regularly presents as a guest speaker at grand rounds and various other medical college conferences. Her clinical interests include Cardiac Imaging; Women’s Imaging and Ultrasound guided fine needle aspiration procedures.
