Edgar Goluch has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Edgar is the Founder & CEO of QSM Diagnostics, Inc since October 2014. Prior to that, they held various teaching positions at Northeastern University, starting as an Assistant Professor from August 2010 to June 2016, an Associate Professor from June 2016 to September 2022, and currently as an Affiliate Professor since September 2022. Edgar also worked as a Consultant at Triple Ring Technologies from July 2017 to October 2019. Edgar gained research experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Delft University of Technology from February 2008 to August 2010, and as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from May 2003 to December 2007. Prior to their academic career, they worked as a Quality Control Technician at UOP in 2002, and as a Research and Development Engineer at Diageo in 2001. Edgar's career began as a Research and Development Technician at Turtle Wax in 2000, where they were involved in formulation of new products and product testing.

Edgar Goluch holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Edgar then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Continuing their education, Edgar completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Bioengineering also at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
