QSR Brands is a Malaysian company with majority shares owned by Malaysian entities, Johor Corporation (JCorp) and the Employees Provident Fund (EPF) who hold significant stakes in the company, operating KFC restaurants in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and Cambodia, as well Pizza Hut concept restaurants and delivery services in Malaysia and Singapore.

In Malaysia, of the 17,000 employees, 80% are Muslims and a fully integrated Halal company that is Syariah compliant in all areas of business adhering to strict food regulations and continues to receive the highest level of certification recognised by the Department of Islamic Development Malaysia (JAKIM) making QSR Brands a pioneer in the halal space.

As a business entity that upholds Islamic core values, QSR Brands is a firm believer in the concept of 'sadaqah' and to date, has contributed more than RM 62 million in business zakat which is then channeled to eligible Muslims across Malaysia by state Zakat centres.

Besides zakat, QSR Brands is also actively involved in conducting Corporate Social Responsibility. QSR Brands’ outreach activities include a contribution of over RM32.4 million over the last 14 years via KFC Add Hope and over RM300,000 towards Cancer Recovery via Pizza Hut’s Hut to Heart program.
