George Savoulis serves as the Curatorial Director at Qtopia Sydney, focusing on exhibitions, history, and culture since October 2023. Prior to this role, George held multiple significant positions at Studio Savoulis, including Head Curator and Senior Curator, while also contributing as Director for the Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras from October 2012 to June 2024, where George was Creative Director, Show Director, and involved in set design and content creation for Mardi Gras parties. Additional experience includes serving as Senior Design Advisor for Government Architect New South Wales and founding the design firm the paper planes.
