Chris Winpigler

Chris Winpigler is an experienced professional in critical environment engineering and data center management, currently serving at QTS Data Centers since December 2023. Previously, Chris held multiple key roles at Amazon Web Services (AWS) from January 2021 to December 2023, including DCEO Facility Manager and Chief Engineer, where Chris led a high-performing team in enhancing the reliability and efficiency of data center operations. Prior to AWS, Chris was the Data Center Building Manager at Iron Mountain, overseeing engineering tasks essential for growth and sustainability, and worked as a Data Center Engineer II at Corporate Office Properties Trust. Chris's extensive experience includes a significant tenure at the GSA, where responsibilities included facilities maintenance and team leadership at the White House Executive Office of The President. Chris began a career in electrical services as a Service Electrician and obtained a Journeyman degree in Electrical/Electronics Maintenance and Repair Technology.
