Thijs Castel

Thijs Castel serves as the Engineering & Process Director at Quad Industries since September 2016, after previously holding the roles of Product Engineer and Project Manager. Prior to this, Thijs Castel earned a PhD from Ghent University from September 2012 to August 2016, during which multiple scientific papers were published and presentations were delivered at international conferences focused on in-body and body-to-body communication, as well as secret key generation for the Internet of Things. Thijs Castel also completed courses in leadership and project management. Educational qualifications include a Master in Industrial Sciences with a focus on Electronics from HOWEST Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen (2011-2012) and a Bachelor in Industrial Sciences, Electronics - ICT from the same institution (2008-2011).
