Hans Kompasz, B.Comm, MCPS

Hans Kompasz has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Hans is currently employed as a Microsoft Technical Sales Specialist at Quadbridge Inc. since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at CDW Canada from January 2012 to July 2020 as a Microsoft Solutions and Product Specialist. In this role, they were responsible for identifying and closing new customer business, presenting the Microsoft Solutions Value Proposition, managing client Microsoft software business, and providing analysis and recommendations to C-level executives on their Microsoft infrastructure.

Before joining CDW Canada, Hans worked at Softchoice as a Licensing Sales representative from August 2010 to December 2011. Here, they provided licensing guidance for Microsoft products and advised customers on the best agreements to sell.

In their earlier career, Hans worked as an Assistant Manager/Sales representative at Special Events and Tents from January 2006 to August 2010, where they provided sales estimates and supervised the setup of large entertainment jobs. Hans also gained experience in the financial industry as an Investment Adviser at Morgan Stanley from May 2005 to December 2005, and as a Senior Relationship Manager at CIBC from December 1998 to October 2004. At CIBC World Markets, they worked as a Jr Bond Trader from April 1996 to January 1999, where they calculated and reported daily profit and losses from trading activity and confirmed bond trades.

With their extensive experience in sales, licensing, and financial advising, Hans Kompasz brings a wealth of knowledge to their current role in technical sales at Quadbridge Inc.

Hans Kompasz completed their Honours B.Comm degree in Finance at the University of Windsor from 1990 to 1994. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in February 2020, Microsoft 365 Certified Fundamentals from Microsoft in September 2019, and MS-100 Microsoft 365 Identity and Services from Microsoft in August 2021. Hans has also pursued AWS Cloud Essentials - The Total Course from Amazon Web Services (AWS), although the exact date of completion is unknown.
