Nicolle Som is a research professional with extensive experience in molecular microbiology, currently serving as a Research Assistant at Quadram Institute since February 2021. Prior to this role, Nicolle held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of East Anglia and the John Innes Centre, as well as a PhD Researcher at the University of East Anglia, focusing on Streptomyces bacteria and the investigation of a Two Component System in cell division and antibiotic production. Nicolle also completed a three-month internship at BaseClear BV Leiden, where the development of a customer satisfaction survey was a key project. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Molecular Microbiology from the University of East Anglia, a Master's degree from The Philipp University of Marburg, and a Bachelor's degree in Biology from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg.
