Thomas Gentle, CAMS

Thomas Gentle, CAMS has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Thomas currently works at Quadrata, Inc. as a Compliance Officer. Prior to this, Thomas was a Senior Associate at Coinbase, where they led the BSA/AML Compliance Quality Assurance team. Thomas also worked at Boston Private in various roles, including Manager of Financial Crimes, AVP of AML Strategy, and AML Quality Assurance Analyst. Before that, they worked as a Regulatory Compliance Consultant at Wolf & Company, P.C., and as a BSA Analyst at Needham Bank. Thomas also gained experience as a Financial Intelligence Research Assistant at Boston Private, a Crime Analyst at the Brookline Police Department, and a Summer Intern for the United States Senate.

Thomas Gentle, CAMS completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice at Northeastern University from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their degree, they obtained the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification from ACAMS in November 2017. Recently, in April 2022, they also obtained the Chainalysis Cryptocurrency Fundamentals Certification from Chainalysis Inc.
