Quail Forever
Olivia Lappin is a Wildlife Biologist with extensive experience in habitat restoration and wildlife management. Currently serving as the IHM Rights of Way & Energy Coordinating Wildlife Biologist at Quail Forever since June 2023, Olivia focuses on enhancing wildlife habitats in rights-of-way corridors. Previous roles include Private Lands Wildlife Biologist at Bird Conservancy of the Rockies and Graduate Research Assistant at Mississippi State University, where research involved radio-collaring and tracking bobwhite quail. Other notable positions include working as a Research Assistant at the University of California Cooperative Extension, Eastern Wild Turkey Technician at the University of Delaware, and Biological Intern at the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Olivia holds a Master of Science in Wildlife, Fisheries & Aquaculture from Mississippi State University and a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Ecology from the University of Maine.
Quail Forever
Quail Forever is dedicated to the conservation of quail, pheasants and other wildlife through habitat improvements, public awareness, education and land management policies and programs. At the heart of Quail Forever is the unique grassroots system of fundraising and project development that allows members to see the direct result of their contributions. Quail Forever, Pheasants Forever's sister organization, empower county and local chapters with the responsibility to determine how 100 percent of their locally raised conservation funds will be spent - the only national conservation organization that operates through this truly grassroots structure. As a result, chapter volunteers are able to see the fruits of their efforts locally, while belonging to a larger national organization with a voice on federal and state conservation policy.
