Lachlan Mason

CEO & Co-Founder at Quaisr

Lachlan Mason's work experience includes serving as the Co-Founder and CEO of Quaisr since October 2021. Lachlan also held the position of Co-Founder and CTO at Quaisr from June 2020 to November 2021. Prior to their role at Quaisr, they worked as a Group Leader in Data-centric engineering at The Alan Turing Institute from February 2019 to March 2021. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher at Imperial College London, where they conducted fluids research in the Matar Fluids Lab and presented their work at various international conferences. Lachlan also contributed to the development of teaching materials using virtual reality and web application environments.

Lachlan Mason holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree from the University of Melbourne, which was completed between 2011 and 2016. In addition, Lachlan also attended the Melbourne Business School from 2012 to 2013, where they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Commercialisation (GCCRS). Prior to this, Lachlan completed a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons I) and Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Chemical Engineering and Physics at the University of Melbourne from 2006 to 2010. Lachlan also attended the Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology for a Machine Learning Summer School in 2019 and pursued studies in engineering at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau in 2014.
