Jan Nieman

Jan Nieman has extensive experience in the chemical industry, primarily with Quaker Chemical Corporation, where a career spanned from August 1992 to March 2021, culminating in the role of Vice-President and Global Leader responsible for global marketing and strategic planning, particularly in greases and fire-resistant hydraulics. Previous positions included managing the Asia-Pacific area’s P&L and overseeing the two-piece can business and worldwide Value Added Reseller program. Prior to Quaker, Jan served as an R&D Chemist at Unichema and Quaker Chemical and worked as a Quality Control Chemist at Beverol. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in chemistry from Utrecht University, a BSc in Analytical Chemistry from Bakhuis Roozeboom Instituut, along with additional educational pursuits at Columbia Business School and Heilig hart School. Currently, Jan Nieman is retired.
