Kate Keenan

Kate Keenan, SPHR has a strong background in human resources, spanning over 20 years of experience. Kate currently holds the position of Director, Global HR Operations at Quaker Houghton, where they are responsible for driving HR transformation and implementing meaningful enhancements. Prior to this, Kate worked at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a Global Services HR Senior Director, leading global programs and projects to optimize operations and align with business outcomes. Kate also held the role of Global Services HR Director at BCG for three years and served as a Global Services HR Senior Project Manager, overseeing and delivering complex projects within the division. Earlier in their career, Kate was the Human Resources Director at Basho Technologies and the Associate Director of Human Resources at Isobar. Kate began their HR journey at Microsoft as a Human Resources Manager and also worked at IBM as an Onsite Staffing Consultant and at Coleman Legal as a Recruiter. Kate is recognized for their expertise in HR operations, project management, and strategic change initiatives.

Kate Keenan, SPHR holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in International Politics from Penn State University. In addition, they have obtained certifications in Strategic Human Resources Business Partner, Strategic Workforce Planning, and Executive Presence & Influence: Persuasive Leadership Development from Human Capital Institute (HCI) and Wharton Executive Education respectively. Kate Keenan also holds the SPHR (Senior Professional in Human Resources) certification from HRCI which was obtained in 2014.
