Rick Shapren

Rick Shapren has extensive experience in human resources, with a focus on talent strategy, HR transformation, and organizational development. Rick currently holds the role of VP, Human Resources - Global HRBP Leader at Quaker Houghton. Prior to this, they worked as the Global Human Resources Director at Avantor, where they led the high-growth global talent strategy and HR transformation initiatives. Before that, they served as the Head of Human Resources - Americas Platform & East Region Markets at Cushman & Wakefield, where they advised senior leaders on people strategy and led post-merger integration efforts. Rick also held leadership positions at JLL and CNA Insurance, where they were responsible for talent management and workforce planning. Rick started their career as a Human Resources Generalist at Mayer Brown.

Rick Shapren holds a Master of Science degree in Human Resource Management from the Walter E. Heller College of Business - Roosevelt University. Rick also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business/Organizational Communication from The University of Akron. In 2017, they obtained a Graduate Certificate in Finance: Measuring/Improving Business Performance from Cornell University.
