Dick Stockford

Dick Stockford has been a Quaker for about 25 years. He's enthusiastic about his role at the Quaker Mental Health Fund which has real potential to make a difference to lives suffering mental health problems.

As a senior public servant all his life, Dick has a good understanding of health and social care at national, local, and independent levels. He is the Chair of a charity he founded called Growing Points which helps people of ambition from excluded communities into positions of leadership. Locally, Dick is very involved in bringing refugee families to his hometown through a local charity they established recently. Dick just become a trustee of a local concert club set up by Edward Elgar over 100 years ago.
