Darren Mariano has extensive experience in education and technology, currently serving as the Board President of the Chartiers Valley School Board of Directors since 2021 and previously as Vice-President. As an adjunct professor at Duquesne University, Darren teaches graduate and doctoral courses focused on instructional technology and leadership. In the Quaker Valley School District, Darren has taught a wide range of computer science courses for grades 9-12 and has developed eLearning opportunities, while also conducting professional development for district educators. Previous roles include positions at Intel and Packard Bell NEC, where Darren worked in sales and marketing within the technology sector. Educational credentials include a Master of Public Management from Carnegie Mellon University, a Doctorate in Instructional Technology, and a Master of Education from Duquesne University, along with an undergraduate degree from Washington & Jefferson College.
