Emily Ackerman

Emily Ackerman is an experienced educator with a comprehensive background in teaching and academic support. Currently serving as an Academic Specialist at Quaker Valley School District since August 2019, Emily has previously held teaching roles in various school districts, including Gateway School District and North Hills School District. Additionally, Emily has experience as a CTYOnline Mathematics Instructor at Johns Hopkins University's Center for Talented Youth and has worked as an office manager for the Center For Talented Youth. Emily holds a Graduate Certificate in Reading Specialist from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Penn State University, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education from the same institution.
