Rebecca Paiva

Rebecca Paiva has extensive experience in both academia and the arts. Since January 2000, Rebecca has served as a Senior Academic Specialist at the Rhode Island School of Design, previously holding the position of Secretary III in Academic Affairs and Environmental Health & Safety. Additionally, since September 2004, Rebecca has been actively involved with Penny Dreadful's Shilling Shockers and Peculiar Productions as a Director, Producer, Editor, Musician, and Actor. Earlier in Rebecca's career, tech support and customer care roles were held at Cellular One Boston from June 1998 to January 2000. Rebecca holds a BA with a triple major in Psychology, Drama/Film, and Writing & Communications from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, where studies were completed from 1994 to 1998, along with education at the University of Rhode Island and Emerson College.
