Jorge Navarro Csp

Jorge Navarro CSP has over 15 years of experience in the field of environmental, health, and safety. Jorge began their career at Blommer Chocolate Co. as a Supervisor from January 2004 to May 2006. Jorge then moved on to Schulze & Burch Biscuit Co. where they served as a Safety and Sanitation Manager from May 2006 to October 2008. In this role, they managed the Safety & Sanitation department in a co-manufacturer facility with 300 union employees. During their time there, they developed and implemented a compliant safety and sanitation program, which included updating written SOP, training, accident prevention, and working with insurance carriers.

From November 2008 to January 2013, Jorge worked at Sims Metal Management Limited as the Safety, Health, Environment Midwest Manager. In this role, they had responsibility for safety, health, and environmental management in the Midwest region.

Most recently, Jorge has been working at QualaWash Holdings since May 2013 as a Regional Environmental, Health & Safety Specialist.

Jorge Navarro CSP has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Environmental Management and Sustainability, which they obtained from the Illinois Institute of Technology in 2009-2010. Prior to that, they obtained another MS degree in Industrial Technology and Operations from the same institution during 2003-2005. Jorge also holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering, which they received from the Universidad Tecnológica Centroamericana between 1996 and 2001. In addition to their academic achievements, Jorge has also obtained certifications, including the Certified Safety Professional from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals and the OSHA Authorized Outreach Trainer.
