Kimberly Koro

SVP & GM, Qualcomm Government Technologies at Qualcomm

Kimberly Koro is Senior Vice President and General Manager of Qualcomm Government Technologies (QGOV), of Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. In this role, Koro supports the national and homeland security of the United States through QGOV. Kim’s leadership focuses on driving innovation in public and private partnerships to help bring the U.S. Government in sync with the pace of commercial technology and maximize its ability to leverage the wireless ecosystem.

Koro joined Qualcomm in 1989 as a legal advisor in the Qualcomm Wireless Business Solutions division. She subsequently assumed various roles overseeing division legal matters, international programs and business development. In 1995, Ms. Koro was named vice president of operations and division counsel for Qualcomm's Communication Systems division and continued to assume increasing levels of responsibility and leadership, including being named senior vice president and general manager of Government Systems and Digital Cinema. In 1999, Ms. Koro was appointed as senior vice president of Qualcomm Incorporated and president of Qualcomm Government Technologies.

Koro began her career with the San Diego law firm of Gray, Cary, Ames & Frye (which later become DLA Piper), specializing in business and commercial transactions.

Koro holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science from the University of Colorado, Boulder and a Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law, where she graduated cum laude, was a member of the Law Review, and received the University of San Diego School of Law Distinguished Alumni Award in 2020.
