Kal Hourd

Kal Hourd is an experienced executive with a robust background in leadership within various industries, particularly in real estate and esports. Currently serving as Vice President at NuVista Homes since November 2023 and at Qualico Canada since December 2013, Kal has demonstrated significant expertise in organizational management. Previously, Kal co-founded and served as CEO of Guild Esports from July 2019 to January 2023 and founded CYQIQ Gaming, Ltd. as CEO from June 2018 to August 2019, showcasing a strong entrepreneurial spirit in the esports sector. Kal's career began in digital advertising at Directwest, where tenure spanned from 2001 to 2013. Kal holds a degree from the University of Regina, attended from 1993 to 1996.
