Cynthia Stretch

Cynthia Stretch, PhD, is currently serving as the CSO / Co-Founder at Qualisure Diagnostics Inc., focusing on developing molecular diagnostic tests to improve cancer care. Cynthia is also a Research Associate at the University of Calgary, working on identifying biological markers related to skeletal muscle pathologies in cancer. With previous experience as a Research Assistant at both the University of Calgary and Cross Cancer Institute, Cynthia has a background in researching genes and pathways involved in muscle wasting associated with cancer. Additionally, Cynthia has experience as the Outreach Coordinator at the University of Alberta and has a strong educational background with a PhD in Oncology and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Alberta.
