Christopher Cox

Christopher Cox has extensive work experience as a technology professional, primarily in roles related to architecture, development, and security. Christopher most recently served as the Chief Technology Officer and Information Security Officer at Quality Compliance Systems starting in March 2019. Prior to that, they were the Chief Technical Architect at AIG Life Ltd from September 2017 to March 2019. Christopher also held the position of Lead Solutions Architect at Road Safety Analysis Limited from May 2011 to March 2019. Additionally, they worked as the CTO and SVP Technology and Product Development at BCA Research from August 2016 to August 2017. Other notable roles include being the Solutions Principal at Home Retail Group PLC from February 2015 to August 2016, Head of Web Development at easyJet from November 2014 to February 2015, and Head of Architecture and Development at Hotels4u.com from August 2013 to November 2014. Christopher Cox has also worked as a Senior Solutions Architect at Reference Point Ltd from April 2013 to August 2013 and at Freestyle Interactive Ltd from May 2011 to April 2013. Christopher began their career as a Solution Architect at Aeriandi from June 2008 to May 2011.

Christopher Cox began their education at Tamworth College from 1998 to 2000, where they obtained a BTEC National Diploma in Computer Studies. Christopher then attended Staffordshire University from 2000 to 2004, earning a BSc (Hons) in Computing Science, with a focus on Computer Science. Returning to education later in their career, Cox pursued a Master of Science in Computing from The Open University, completing the program from 2018 to 2021.

In addition to their formal education, Cox has obtained several certifications. These include CompTIA Server+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications from CompTIA in 2019, as well as a CompTIA Security+ certification in 2018. Christopher has also achieved certifications from Microsoft, including MCSA: Web Applications - Certified 2018, MSCD: App Builder, and Microsoft Certified Professional. Cox further expanded their expertise with certifications such as Certified Professional for Software Architecture from ISAQB - International Software Architecture Qualification Board in 2019, and Certified EU GDPR Foundation and Practitioner from The Knowledge Academy in 2017. Additionally, they have certifications in Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect Associate, Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional (CSSLP) from (ISC)², Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP) from (ISC)², CompTIA A+, and MBCS from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

Although information about the obtained month and year is missing for some certifications such as CompTIA CIOS IT Operations Specialist, CompTIA CSIS Secure Infrastructure Specialist, Professional Scrum Master, and TOGAF 9.1 Certified, it can be assumed that Cox pursued these certifications at some point.
