David Sole

David Sole has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. David started their career as an Operations Analyst at Pacific International Lines (PTE) Ltd, where they oversaw analytical data and collated monthly reports on shipped commodities. David then worked as a Ship Broker and International Freight Forwarder at Alpha Shipping Agency (PTY) LTD, managing transportation for clients' goods and developing trend analysis systems. David also gained experience as an Accounting Trainee at Baker Tilly Morrison Murray, performing reconciliations and controls testing. David later joined Rhodes University as a Sub-Warden/Tutor/Student and Treasurer of Activate Independant Newspaper. After that, they worked at Union 3 as an Assistant Accounts Controller/Private Tutor, processing payments and setting up payment plans. David then joined Inspired Asset Management as an Assistant Financial Accountant, where they reviewed and controlled expenditures, managed cash flow, and prepared accounts for filing. David continued their career as an Account Assistant at NORTHRIDGE CAPITAL LIMITED, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of development costs and utility expenditures. Most recently, David worked as a Financial Analyst at Quality Compliance Systems.

David Sole's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications. In 1998, they obtained a Matric Exemption from St. Henry's Marist Brothers' College, where they studied subjects such as English, Afrikaans, Maths, Science, Geography, and Accounting. From 2004 to 2009, David pursued a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree with a focus on Law and Finance at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Later, from 2013 to 2017, they attended Rhodes University and earned another Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree, this time majoring in Accounting, Tax, Audit, Corporate Finance, and Economics. In 2020, David completed a certification course in Financial Modeling and Valuation Analysis (FVMA) from the Corporate Finance Institute (CFI).
