Qualified Mental Health Professional at Quality Correctional Care

Courtney Carter has extensive experience in the mental health and behavioral health field. Courtney is currently working as a Qualified Mental Health Professional at Quality Correctional Care since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Behavior Consultant at Bona Vista Programs, Inc. from September 2019 to March 2023, where they conducted functional assessments, developed behavior intervention plans, and oversaw skill acquisition programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. Courtney also worked as a Behavior Clinician at Logansport State Hospital from March 2015 to July 2019. Additionally, Courtney served as a Resource Family Assessment Subcontractor at Oklahoma United Methodist Circle of Care from May 2014 to March 2015 and as a Behavioral Health Rehabilitation Specialist at Choices Institute from May 2013 to February 2014. Courtney started their career as a Child Welfare Case Manager at Gulf Coast Jewish Family and Community Services in December 2010, where they worked until February 2011.

Courtney Carter obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from North Dakota State University in the years 2004 to 2008. Following this, they pursued further education and completed a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Forensic Psychology from Argosy University between 2011 and 2013.
