At the age of 7, Mike found a genius way to turn a profit selling fresh produce to the people in his neighborhood. Things were good until one day his grandma found out from the farmer next door that there were "some" vegetables missing. Mike had always planned to pay the farmer back for the produce he was borrowing. The farmer just did not know it at the time. Sales and negotiation came naturally; understanding supply chain intricacies took time.
Fast forward to college. During his last year, he and his buddy, Bret, secured a loan from the Coleman Foundation of Chicago. They took that money and started a little promotional goods web business called Quality Logo Products. Since then, the company has evolved into a $39 million operation with 2 offices and over 90 employees.
Michael fills many roles here but still finds himself spending time doing the things he loves most: leading, teaching, and selling. Michael credits the success of the company to its incredible team of employees and suppliers who tirelessly work to challenge, improve, and add value to the industry.
