Aspasia Beneti

Aspasia Beneti has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple companies and roles.

Starting in 1999, they worked as an I.T. support at Altec Greece until 2001. From there, they joined Vodafone Greece as an I.T. Helpdesk from 2001 to 2002.

In 2008, Aspasia joined TomTom International B.V. as a Software Developer and later became a Scrum Master. Aspasia worked on various key software teams until 2011. During that time, they also served as a Product Owner for HDTraffic, ensuring high-quality service and acting as a mediator between development teams and management.

In 2011, Aspasia co-founded fishyjobs and served as the CTO until 2014. Aspasia was responsible for the technical aspects of the company.

After that, they worked at Sourcesense as a Software Engineer for a brief period, followed by MYLAPS as a Software Developer and Scrum Master from 2012 to 2014. At MYLAPS, they introduced the Scrum process to the R&D team.

Aspasia then joined ADGOJI as a Software Developer from 2014 to 2016, where they gained experience with Clojure, ClojureScript, and AWS. Aspasia contributed to the development of real-time bidding scalable software on the cloud.

Starting in 2016, Aspasia founded their own company called Surreal Turtle. Aspasia took on multiple roles as the owner, software and agile consultant, and software developer.

In 2017, Aspasia joined Dyne.org as a Lead Software Developer and later became the Project Manager for the Reflow Project. Aspasia played a key role in analyzing requirements, improving software and processes, and developing the Social Wallet toolkit.

Lastly, in 2020, they joined Quality Match GmbH as the Head of Product Development.

Throughout their career, Aspasia has demonstrated a wide range of technical expertise, leadership, and project management skills.

Aspasia Beneti's education history begins in 1997 when they obtained a Certification in Specialist of Computer Applications from Korelko, which lasted until 1999. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Liverpool, which spanned from 2002 to 2005. Their tertiary education continued at the University of Amsterdam, where they pursued an MSc degree in Artificial Intelligence from 2005 to 2007.

In addition to their formal education, Aspasia Beneti has also obtained certifications in the field of Agile methodologies. They hold an ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Team Facilitation certification from ICAgile, which was obtained in March 2023. Furthermore, they have also received an ICAgile Certified Professional - Agile Coaching certification from ICAgile, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
