Hiroshi Nakahara

Hiroshi Nakahara, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of research and development, specifically in battery technology. Hiroshi started their career in 1992 at Life of Research and Development, where they gained expertise in various technical aspects of battery cell design, manufacturing processes, and failure mode analysis. Hiroshi also developed skills in material analysis and characterization using multiple analytical tools and techniques.

In 1995, Nakahara joined Japan Storage Battery as a researcher, focusing on Ni-MH cell technology. Hiroshi then moved to Japan Storage Battery again in 1997, where they worked on Li-ion rechargeable cell research.

Nakahara's most recent and significant role was at EnerSys Advanced Systems - Quallion, where they held multiple positions starting from 1999. Hiroshi served as a battery engineer, project manager, and material scientist, contributing to the development and advancement of battery technologies. In 2003, they were promoted to the role of Advanced Material Group Manager and later served as a Product Development Manager and Director of Battery Development. Hiroshi then continued their academic journey at the same institution, obtaining a Master's degree in Applied Chemistry from 1993 to 1995. Motivated by a passion for scientific exploration, Nakahara pursued a PhD in Material Science at the University of Southern California from 2000 to 2006, further expanding their expertise in this field.
