Terry Nielsen

Terry Nielsen is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the utility industry, currently serving as Chief Consultant at Qualus since September 2014. Nielsen co-founded GRIDEON® Inc. in December 2022, focusing on innovative software and services for utility emergency management. Previously, the role of Executive Vice President and Chief Consultant at GridBright involved leading multiple significant projects in advanced distribution management systems (ADMS) and operational management systems (OMS). Nielsen also held the position of Senior Vice President at UISOL, where a robust business practice for OMS and asset management services was built. Earlier career milestones include Vice President roles at SPL WorldGroup and CES, and a foundational role as an Electrical Engineer at Control Data Corporation. Academic credentials include a degree from Iowa State University, obtained between 1982 and 1987.
