Colin Schwartz, PMP MPP

Colin Schwartz has extensive experience in project management and declassification analysis. Colin is currently working as a Project Manager at QualX Corporation, where they support the Office of Secretary of Defense FOIA Appeals Contract. Colin'sresponsibilities include developing a strong project team, coordinating internal and external resources, and ensuring that the project meets the required scope and schedule.

Prior to their current role, Colin worked as a Site Lead/Senior FOIA Appeals Analyst at QualX Corporation, where they analyzed unclassified and classified documents to determine appropriate action and release procedures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Colin also has experience as a Senior Declassification Lead and Senior Declassification Analyst, where they conducted senior Mandatory and Automatic Declassification reviews and made recommendations to the WHS OSD client for declassification, exemption, exclusion, or referral to other agencies.

Before their career in project management and declassification analysis, Colin worked as an Assistant Coach at Norbeck Hills Swim Team from 2010 to 2011.

Colin Schwartz, PMP MPP, has a strong education history in the field of public policy analysis and domestic and international security. Colin obtained a Master's degree in Public Policy Analysis from George Mason University, which they pursued from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Domestic and International Security at the same university from 2011 to 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Colin has also pursued additional certifications. Colin completed the PMP® Certification Training Course from the Project Management Institute in February 2023. This certification demonstrates their expertise in project management. Furthermore, they obtained the certification of Historical Records Restricted Data Reviewer from the Department of Energy, although the exact time of obtaining is unknown.
