Richard Seiersen

Richard Seiersen is a seasoned cybersecurity executive currently serving as the Chief Risk Technology Officer at Qualys since January 2024, focusing on risk measurement and communication for customers and the security community. As a member of the IANS CISO Faculty, Richard provides strategic support to CISOs and their teams. Previous roles include Chief Cyber Resilience Officer at Resilience, CISO and Co-Founder at Soluble (acquired by Lacework), and SVP & CISO at LendingClub, where Richard built high-performing security teams in the FinTech space. With extensive experience at Twilio Inc. and GE Healthcare, Richard has led initiatives to secure cloud environments and address cybersecurity in the healthcare sector. Richard’s early career includes positions at Kaiser Permanente, Qualys, and Tripwire, complemented by graduate-level coursework in Predictive Analytics and a Master’s degree from John F. Kennedy University.
