Alex Chervony

Alex Chervony has a diverse work experience, starting in 2008 as a Research Assistant at Tel Aviv University. From there, they worked as a Software Support Technician at TIL INTERNATIONAL and as a Technical Support Representative at SAS. In 2012, they joined Recommind as a Technical Support Specialist before transitioning to Blue 449, where they held multiple roles in data science and analytics, including BI Analyst, BI Supervisor, and Associate Director. In 2020, they joined BlueOwl, LLC as a Senior Data Analyst, and later became the Principal Data Analyst in the Data Science Division. Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated expertise in conducting data analyses, applying machine learning and statistical methods, and providing technical support and troubleshooting.

Alex Chervony earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree with a double major in Statistics/Operational Research and Economics from Tel Aviv University, between 2007 and 2011. In addition, they have obtained several certifications, including Advanced Google Analytics from Google in 2018, Bayesian Statistics: From Concept to Data Analysis (with Honors) from Coursera in 2017, and Machine Learning from Coursera in 2016. They also have certifications in SAS programming and administration from SAS in 2012.
