Daniel Parks

Daniel Parks is a Senior Data Scientist at BlueOwl, LLC, since April 2020, with extensive experience in data science leadership roles. Previously, Daniel served as Lead Data Scientist at Esurance from October 2014 to April 2020, where Daniel influenced technical direction and supervised a small team, overseeing critical projects such as a deep learning model for early prediction of policyholder liability and a re-invented pricing algorithm system. Earlier roles included Senior Data Scientist and Data Scientist at Esurance, and a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, contributing to advanced simulations and interactive web applications. Daniel holds a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Oregon and a Bachelor of Arts in Physics from Whitman College.
