Marie Billard has had a varied work experience since 2015. Marie began their career as an Operative on Automates of Control at NOVACEL OPTICAL. In 2016, they completed a research assistant stage at Fraunhofer IBMT, where they were part of the "Biologie et Cryogénisation" team and worked on two projects involving experimental protocols, cryogenic sample experiments, and Matlab data analysis. In 2017, they were an R&D Engineer at Essilor. Since 2018, they have been a Quality Performance Manager, Quantum Product Engineer, and Thèse CIFRE - Photonique Quantique - at Quandela.
Marie Billard began their education in 2009, when they obtained their Baccalauréat from Lycée Bossuet in Meaux, France. In 2012, they obtained their Permis de conduire from the Ministère de l'Intérieur and continued their studies at Lycée Michelet in Vanves, France, until 2014. In 2014, they earned a Diplôme d'ingénieur from Télécom Saint-Etienne in Optique, Photonique, Vision. In 2016, they earned a Master 2 (M2) - Sciences et Numériques pour la Santé with an Option Physique biomédicale from the University of Montpellier. Additionally, in 2016 they obtained a TOEIC score of 765 points.
