Valérian Giesz

Co-Founder & CEO at Quandela

Valérian Giesz is the co-founder and CEO of Quandela, a French startup that is shaking up the world of high-speed internet. Before Quandela, Valérian was part of the team that launched French Tech Paris Saclay, a network of startups and tech companies in the Paris region. Valérian also did research at the Laboratoire de Photonique et de Nanostructures (LPN) and the Centre de Nanosciences et de Nanotechnologies (C2N). Valérian's experience in both the corporate world and the startup world makes him uniquely qualified to lead Quandela as it grows from a small startup to a major player in the high-speed internet market.

Valérian Giesz attended the Institut d'Optique for their Diplôme d'ingénieur in Photonique, Optique, and Nanosciences. Valérian then went on to HEC Paris for Challenge + in Entrepreneuriat / études entrepreneuriales. Finally, they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nanotechnologie, Optics, and Condensed Matter at Université Paris-Saclay. Valérian began their educational career at Lycée Saint Louis in the Classe Prépas for Physique.
