Jim Nixon

Jim Nixon currently serves as President of Quanex Custom Mixing, a position held since November 2022, and previously held the role of Vice President of Innovation & New Markets at the same company. Prior to their tenure at Quanex, Jim Nixon worked at LMI Custom Mixing, starting in July 2001 as General Manager. Earlier experience includes positions as a Chemical Engineer at Lauren Manufacturing, LLC from 1999 to 2001 and as Technology Engineer I at Energizer from 1998 to 1999. Jim Nixon holds a Master of Business Administration from Ashland University, earned in 2023, and a degree in Chemical Engineering with a focus on Engineering, Economics, and Business from Case Western Reserve University, completed in 1998.
