Prior to that, they served as an AI Expert at AI for Tomorrow, contributing their knowledge in AI to various projects. Laurent also worked as a Consultant in Artificial Intelligence at This Amazing A.I., where they provided consulting services in the field of AI.

Before transitioning to the AI field, Laurent held multiple roles at PSA Group, a French multinational manufacturer of automobiles and motorcycles. As an IT Project Manager and an Expertise in Complex Systems and Artificial Intelligence, they supervised and participated in innovative projects related to smart, connected, and communicating vehicles. Laurent specialized in technical architecture, including both embedded and off-board systems. Laurent's skills include working with Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, and Docker.

Additionally, Laurent worked as a Technical Expert in Document Management at PSA Group, where they provided technical advisory services for document creation products and search engines. Laurent also served as the Responsible for the Integration Project of the Document Workflows Management Group Solution, leading the integration of document workflow management software and managing a team of developers. Laurent Lucien, Ph.D., has an extensive education history in the field of computer science. Laurent obtained their Ph.D. in Computer Science from École Doctorale SPIM between 2012 and 2018. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, and Parallelism at Université de Franche-Comté from 1997 to 1998. Before their master's degree, Laurent earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the same institution from 1995 to 1997. Laurent began their educational journey with a Two-year Technical Degree in Computer Science from UTBM from 1993 to 1995.

In addition to their formal education, Laurent Lucien has also obtained a certification in SIELE Global from Instituto Cervantes in April 2021.
