Mario has experience in project management, business development, acquisitions, and power generation asset management. Mario has a deep understanding of the energy sector, with expertise in renewable energy, infrastructure, utilities, and power generation.

Mario Hurtado attended Cranbrook Kingswood high school from 1982 to 1986. Mario then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Columbia University from 1986 to 1990. Later, they attended the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) from 1993 to 1994, focusing on International Economics and Latin American Studies.
