Gary Webster

Gary Webster is an experienced engineering professional with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Alberta. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor in Automation and Data Management at Quanta Technology, LLC since September 2021, Gary previously held the position of Senior Protection and Control Engineer at AltaLink from 2006 to July 2021, where responsibilities included managing the CAPE short circuit model and leading wide area protection studies. In earlier roles, Gary contributed as a Protection and Control Engineer and Disturbance Analysis EIT at ATCO Electric, and worked as a Distribution Project Manager at Hydro One and a Distribution Planner at Hydro One.
