Henry Chao

Henry Chao is a seasoned professional in the energy sector with extensive expertise in power markets and grid operations. As Vice President of RTO/ISO Markets at Quanta Technology, LLC since April 2017, Henry Chao has been instrumental in aligning client solutions with the evolving power industry landscape. In addition, as Principal at EESA since September 2016, Henry Chao focuses on new energy technology resource integration and regulatory reviews. Previously, from April 2007 to August 2016, Henry Chao served as Vice President of System and Resource Planning at NYISO, overseeing resource adequacy and transmission planning. Henry Chao's career also includes a decade at ABB in various leadership roles, directing technology development and consulting services. Henry Chao holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering and Operations Research from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
